Le Dauphin was designed by Rem Koolhaas and got the Fooding prize of the best interior design in 2010…well, I’ll let you judge by yourself. Now let’s talk about the food: the chef, Inaki Aizpitarte, has proven his talent at le Chateaubriand, a famous restaurant of the parisian east (a neighbour, 129 av. Parmentier). The concept here is “gourmet-tapas”. Miniature “nouvelle-cuisine” creations which surprising flavors combinations will enchant your papillas. Let’s be honest, this place will satisfy the esthete mouths more than the hungry stomacs. The tapas cost between 5 and 16 euros and are as small as they are beautiful (and tasty). So, for a reasonnably nourishing dinner with wine count between 50 and 70 euros per person. Lunch is more affordable, 27 euros the menu (first, main, dessert).
