Médecine douce is a jewelry brand created in 2000 by Marie Montaud. Marie’s delicate taste comes in light, refined necklaces, bracelets and earrings, fine golden chains and sober charms with just the right touch of colour and nonchalance so typical of a certain parisian bohemian style. Most of the jewels are gold or silver plated and therefore very affordable. You will find also higher range pieces in gold and semi-precious stones.
The shop is located in Rue de Marseille in the 10th arrondissement close to the canal St-Martin, where you’ll find many other shopping opportunities such as APC, Maje and Claudie Pierlot outlets, one of the best bakery in Paris “Du Pain et Des Idées”, and many other intersting shops, restaurants and bars (see other posts) . A good and much quieter alternative to the main shopping areas on a crowded saturday (and sunday, as most of the shops are open).
Metro: 3, 5, 8, 9, 11 République / 5 Jacques Bonsergent Prices: Count 50 to 70 euros for a plated chain with charm, 80 to 120 euros for a more elaborate piece
